WHAT WE DO
- We build, own and operate renewable energy generation plants across
Southern Africa, providing an end-to-end, off-balance sheet funded green
energy solution that allows companies to focus on their core business. - We remove all the risks associated to procuring embedded energy
systems, whilst retaining the electricity cost benefits, a measure of
security of energy supply and transition to a greater supply of
green power for our clients. - In addition, should clients wish to support emerging black businesses,
we offer renewable energy investment opportunities through Kigeni
Ventures, one of our venture capital funds.
DEVELOPMENT:
- Site identification and feasibility assessment.
- Plan and Design.
- Permits and necessary municipal authorisations.
- Full engineering, procurement and construction using only in-house construction and development teams.
- Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Carry all construction and development risk.
FUNDING:
- Low cost, competitive and innovative renewable energy funding.
- No up-front capital costs.
- Offer our clients co-investment opportunities.
- Opportunity for our clients to enhance their black empowerment scorecards.
- Carry all funding and yield risk.
OPERATION:
- The energy tariff with known annual escalations is agreed upon upfront.
- Operate and maintain the plant at no cost to our client.
- Provide full insurance of the plant.
- Provide a long term solar yield guarantee.
- Carry all operational risk.
